Men's Circle

This program is focused on providing a space for Indigenous and non-indigenous men who are attempting to make positive changes in their lives as role models within the family unit and as catalysts of change within the community.

We strive to cultivate a place that men can come and find solace in brotherhood. We invite men who are working through the obstacles of life; be that personal losses from addiction, spirals of self esteem, grief due to the loss of loved ones connected with the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women, Men, and Children (MMIWMC), or other challenges.

Surrender

  • Acceptance of  "we can't do this on our own"

  • Embracing masculinity in its true form

  • Sharing tools to reconcile us with simple acts of self respect

Strategy

  • Discussing alternative ways of confronting challenges

Sovereignty & Solidarity

  • Taking radical responsibility for our experiences and our lives.

  • Creating a brotherhood that is fiercely empowering and supportive of one and all
