HBHL recognizes the traditional territories, oral practices, and history of the Blackfoot Confederacy, Kainai, Piikani, and Siksika Nations. The Stoney Nakota Nations of Chiniki, Goodstoney/Wesley, and Bearspaw and The Tsuut’ina Nation of Treaty 7. We also acknowledge Métis Nation Region 3 and all who live, work and steward the Treaty 7 territories. As Treaty 7 Peoples we are all responsible for the continued health and honouring of these Sacred homelands.
