About the event

Come join us as we come together to rebuild the Community Sweat Lodge and tend to the land we are honoured to gather on for Ceremony. We invite you to join us in spending the day on the land.

Our gathering begins at 9 am on Saturday morning, with participants welcome to join us at any point throughout the day. Together, we'll

work together to rebuild the Lodge with new willows and blankets. We will also work to collect deadfall, create a wood shelter and changing space. With plenty of tasks at hand, there's something for everyone to contribute as we work side by side, sharing knowledge and building connections. A picnic lunch will be provided.

We will finish our day with a Community Sweat Lodge in the brand new Lodge. Please note that the exact time for the Lodge is undetermined and will depend on how many volunteers we have assisting.

All necessary supplies, including work gloves and tools, will be provided, so just bring yourself and a willingness to lend a hand. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing and sturdy shoes suitable for outdoor work.

In preparation for the rebuild, we gratefully accept donations of materials and supplies. If you'd like to contribute, please visit our donation page for more information. Join us as we come together to honour the land, nurture the community, and create a space of warmth and welcome for all.
