About the event

The Community Sweat Lodge takes place on the Stoney Nakoda Reserve, near the town of Mînî Thnî (Morley). These Lodges are run by Wade Maude, who is Kanien’kehá:ka (Mohawk), and we are honoured to gather on the land which is stewarded by Helmer Twoyoungmen and family.

Just a reminder that it is about a 45–60-minute drive to the Lodge location from Calgary, towards Canmore. Arrival time on Saturday is 10:30 am; please give yourself plenty of time so you have an opportunity to sit with the land before we enter the Lodge at noonish.

Please Bring:

  • Plenty of water

  • A towel or two

  • Weather-appropriate clothing to be outside all day (including boots in winter/wet spring/summer)

Registration closes Feb 14, 2025, 12:00 p.m. MST
